AKA Charm, Lindsey Normington has worked in the stripping and pole performance industries for over seven years. She has danced for television shows and films including HBO’s THE IDOL (dir. Sam Levinson) and Netflix’s TRUE STORY, as well as in collaboration with brands such as MOONBOOTS.
Lindsey has also been at the forefront of labor organizing for strippers in Los Angeles. She continues to fight for safety and equity in strip clubs with Stripper Strike Noho and the Stripper Co-op.
STRIPPER STRIKE NOHO
On March 18 2022, the Star Garden dancers delivered a petition to management demanding safer working conditions. When the petition was ignored, Lindsey and her coworkers walked off the job and began a year long strike against Star Garden Topless Dive Bar. The dancers voted to unionize with Actor’s Equity in November 2022. After months of delay tactics, the Star Garden dancers officially won their union on May 18, 2023.

STRIPPER CO-OP
Lindsey is also a proud co-organizer/producer/performer and host of the Stripper Co-op, a hybrid live in person and virtual strip show. At a Stripper Co-op show, tips are pooled and split evenly among performers. Show profits are also split - half donated to charity and the remainder being divided evenly between all workers. The Stripper Co-op currently functions as a pop-up entertainment experience, and seeks to obtain a brick and mortar space to exercise its highly successful business model daily.
